The trick to writing a newsletter people want to read

Email marketing has been reputed to generate an astounding 4200% ROI.But there’s an important fact you need to remember:Email marketing is nothing more than a value delivery mechanism. Its entire purpose is to deliver specific value to the specific audience you want to do business with: your ideal member.Failing to do so is the digital equivalent of mailing an empty envelope. And there are two common pitfalls I see with coworking space newsletters: 1) It’s about the coworking space Your newsletter shouldn’t be about you. It should be about them--your ideal member. Don’t talk about yourself. Be strategic. And give your audience a newsletter packed with things that they, specifically, will find useful, helpful, and interesting. If you do this, subscribing, reading, and sharing your newsletter will be a no-brainer. 2) They’re overdoneYour newsletter doesn’t have to be long. It doesn’t have to have a fancy design. It doesn’t have to be complicated. It just has to be valuable to your ideal member. When you start to look at it through this lens, you’ll supercharge your newsletter.
